résumé he method presented enables determination of the turnover time, the coefficient of dispersion and the dispersivity from dye tracer tests. This method was first tested on a column of sand, which is a medium with single porosity. Then, the method was tested on chalk, a dual porosity medium, and modified because the coefficient of dispersion depends on the location of the centre of plume. Comparison between experimental and computed data leads to conclusions about the validity of the method.
