résumé A numerical investigation of flow control in a converging diverging turbulent separated flow is presented. The effect of geometric and operating parameters of a control performed with counter-rotating jets is investigated using highly resolved Large Eddy Simulation (LES). The control efficiency is evaluated by comparing the friction velocity of the flow without actuation. The effect of pulsating is addressed and an optimal frequency related to a convective time is found. The pulsation associated with a duty cycle of 0.28 leads to a better control efficiency as compared to continuous jets with the same mass flux.
