résumé Starting from the multiplicative decomposition of total deformation gradient into purely elastic and plastic part, a general formulation of the static shakedown theorem in geometrically non-linear case is presented. Previous formulations of the static shakedown theorem are interpreted as particular cases, and their domains of application are compared according to their explicit are implicit basic assumptions.
